What is included?

From the moment you land, to the day you leave, you will be in my care. You will be met at the airport and your diver will guide you to the hotel. All accommodations, transfers and transportation, breakfasts, some dinners, activities, entrance fees are included. Airfare is not included. You will be given a Suica transportation card that will be pre-loaded with the transportation costs during the tour. It can be used during free time, at convenience stores, or at vending machines, and can be easily reloaded.

How many guests will be on the tour?

4 people minimum, 10 people maximum. These tours are designed to take you off the beaten path for authentic cultural experiences. Japan is currently suffering from over-tourism in some spaces, while many wonderful places go unseen and undiscovered. Sharing these places where tourists frequent less often is my passion in life. It allows me to share a culture I have been passionate about since 1990, and helps small cities/local economies in Japan.

Can I come solo?

Yes, but we still need a minimum of 4 people to run the tour, and solo prices are slightly higher.

Will I still get a chance to see those Insta-Famous places?

Yes! I will give you plenty of free time and guidance to go to places like the Shibuya Scramble, the Golden Pavilion, or Osaka Castle. The tour is a good balance of guided excursions and activities with free time to find your own adventures!

Can we do a private tour for dates not listed?

YES! I would love to talk about a private tour for you and your friends or family. Tours can be catered to specific needs or wants, and I look forward to discussing how we can make your Japan adventure the best trip ever!
